Radium Springs Middle Magnet Softball Claims 2nd Place in Deep South Conference Tournament
Albany, Georgia — September 8, 2025 — The Radium Springs Middle Magnet School of the Arts Panthers softball team earned a hard-fought second place finish in the Deep South Conference (DSC) tournament, capping off a successful season under the leadership of Coach Shuler and Coach Hayes.
The Panthers advanced through a competitive field of conference rivals, showcasing resilience, skill, and teamwork at every stage. Though they narrowly missed the championship title, their runner-up finish highlights a season of growth and accomplishment for the team and the school.
Season Highlights & Tournament Run
The Panthers opened the year with steady performances that built confidence and momentum leading into the DSC tournament.
In the postseason, they played their way into the championship game, where they battled fiercely against the top seed before finishing as the second-place team in the conference.
Coach Shuler and Coach Hayes praised the team’s drive and unity, emphasizing that the Panthers exceeded expectations and raised the standard for seasons to come.
